1. Commitment
The journal aims to provide readable, keyboard-usable editorial content across common screen sizes and assistive technologies.
2. Structure
Pages use headings, landmarks, descriptive titles and visible link text. Navigation remains available without pointer-only interaction.
3. Images
Editorial images include concise alternative text. Decorative effects are not intended to carry essential instructions.
4. Contrast and type
The paper, ink, red and blue-black system is designed for readable contrast. Text can reflow at narrow widths and browser zoom.
5. Forms
Fields have labels, required state and local-only explanations. Validation does not claim that a message was transmitted.
6. Motion
Core reading and interaction do not depend on animation. Native smooth scrolling may be disabled through browser or operating-system preferences.
7. Known limits and feedback
External font delivery and browser differences can affect rendering. Use the contact page to validate an accessibility note locally until a real endpoint is configured.
